About Me

I am a Social Media Content Creator, Motivational Speaker and Fitness and Disability advocate. I share my mental and physical journey online including documenting my life as an amputee, how I coped with the trauma of losing my right leg below the knee following an accident, and my running journey.

It is my mission to show that life is worth living, even when times get hard. I firmly believe that happiness is a choice but it requires understanding the tools and strategies to achieve this. Mindfulness underpins everything and though my content, I aim to provide people with this knowledge.

I’m proud and happy to share that I was spotlighted in the 2021 Cosmopolitan’s Positivity Index and was heralded for ‘bringing joy this year’. I was also the cover star for Women’s Running Magazine, covering my rehabilitation journey and experience being a blade runner. I was further spotlighted by The Telegraph for her role in bringing further attention to women’s sport on social media.

My Accident

On 29th September 2017, I had an accident and was electrocuted. My surgeons originally thought I was going to lose both my entire legs but they managed to save one and a half. I am therefore a right leg below knee amputee. I also have two toes missing on my human foot. I was in hospital for two and a half months and then shortly received my prosthetic leg. I re-learnt how to walk and three years later, I received a running blade and have documented my journey of learning to walk and run via my Instagram and TikTok channels. Here is an article which explains more about my journey over the past five years and how I overcame it mentally.

What I'm Working On

📹 On my YouTube channel and TikTok channel I share videos about mindset, disability, fitness and lifestyle.

📸 On my Instagram channel, I share snapshots of my day-to-day life via my stories and share my journey of being a presenter / host and motivational speaker.

✍️ On this website I write articles about mindset and give generic life advice. I also share books I have read and review them.
